Lloyds Tour of Britain

Stage Four in Warwickshire in 2025

On Friday 5th September 2025, Warwickshire took centre stage as it proudly hosted Stage Four of the Lloyds Tour of Britain Men, the UK’s biggest professional cycling event. Covering an exhilarating 116-mile route, this stage passed through every district and borough in the county, showcasing Warwickshire’s rich variety of landscapes - from the ancient woodlands of The Arden, across the open plains of Feldon, to the rolling hills of the Cotswold Fringe.

Many came to witness elite athletes tackle a route filled with both urban energy and rural charm. The stage began in Atherstone and culminated in a dramatic hilltop finish at Burton Dassett Hills Country Park, where riders faced a gruelling 700-metre climb with a 9% gradient - three times in the final kilometres.
