Accessible Warwickshire

Warwickshire is committed to being a destination that every visitor can enjoy. Shakespeare's England - the official tourism organisation for south Warwickshire - works with Stratford-on-Avon District Council, Warwick District Council, the Royal Shakespeare Company, the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust and the Stratford Business Improvement District to provide detailed accessibility guides for accommodation, attractions, restaurants and venues across the region. These guides are produced in partnership with AccessAble and cover parking, access routes and facilities including toilets and reception desks. Town guides are available for Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick, Kenilworth and Royal Leamington Spa, with a search function for other towns and villages across the county.

For visitors to Stratford-upon-Avon specifically, Accessible Stratford-upon-Avon offers a free printed access guide for the town, and Stratford Shopmobility provides mobility scooters, wheelchairs and walking aids for visitors - enabling independent exploration of the town centre. Shopmobility is based at Bridgeway Multi-Storey Car Park and equipment is free to hire for local residents and visitors alike on registration.

For full accessibility information, guides and resources, visit Shakespeare’s England and follow the accessibility links, or go directly to AccessAble to search by town.
